This was my third time having a little one but Kirsten taught me so much about the hospital experience and things that I did or did not have to do while I was there when it came to me giving birth. She taught me that I didn't have to just bow down to everything the hospital wanted. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to the birthing experience and becoming a mother whether it's the first time or the third like mine. And above all, she was there by my side the whole time I was in labor and thereafter and it felt awesome to have someone else there who cared.

Kirsten is absolutely incredible. After our first phone consult, I knew she would be a lifelong friend to me. She was there throughout the last trimester of my pregnancy and made sure to check in on me every few days. We talked about everything and her compassion as well as suggestions made me at ease. She went above and beyond to be there for me even prior to birth. The day I gave birth, we went walking, she scheduled me an acupuncture appointment and she made me dinner as well as helped straighten my house as I’m a bit of a neat freak and she didn’t want me to be overwhelmed during birth. My birth was very un-traditional (home-birth with a surprise breech baby) but she never once left my side. During labor, she had a slew of techniques for pain management which were super helpful. I can’t say enough good things about her as a person and a provider. I’m so thankful that we took the plunge and hired Kirsten as our doula. We’re definitely having more babies and she’s going to be there each and every time.
